Meet Dr. Spicer
Podiatrist Stephanie Spicer, DPM, provides foot and ankle evaluation, treatment, and surgery to patients at her practice Foot & Ankle Group in Olympia Fields, Illinois. Serving the greater Chicagoland area, Dr. Spicer strives to educate her patients so they can be involved in their treatment and make informed decisions.
Dr. Spicer has maintained Surgical Board Certification for over 20 years. She completed Orthopedic and Surgical residency programs at Hines/Loyola Hospitals and Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, respectively. Her postgraduate training included but was not limited to wound care, sports medicine, reconstructive rear, fore-foot surgery, and trauma, as well as foot and ankle problems related to systemic disease.
Dr. Spicer also maintains professional affiliations with the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Illinois, Ingalls Same Day Surgery in Tinley Park, Illinois, and Centers of Minimally Invasive Surgery. She is on the board of directors and a lifetime member of the National Podiatric Medical Association, and is a member of the National Medical Association and the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Spicer is an Executive Board Member of the iCan Dream Center, and an active member of the Bronzeville Children’s Museum Women’s Board.
When she’s not at the office, Dr. Spicer enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, volunteerism, traveling, boating, and taking historic tours.
